Kilve Short Mat Bowls Club
Closed for the Summer - restarts 30th September 2019
Kilve Short Mat Bowls Club was formed back in 1999 and has since attracted an increasing number
of local people who like to try their hand at Bowling.
Once was the time that the art of Bowling was always associated with people of the ‘older
generation’ but over the years the Club has mirrored the National conception of the game and
appeals to people of all ages.
Known throughout the district for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the Club meets
regularly on a Monday evening in Kilve Village Hall from September round until the end of May.
Club nights commence at 7.00pm
New members are always welcomed and to this end anyone interested is invited to attend a Club
night (free and without obligation) to see if the sport is something they would like to do. It is not
expensive either. An annual subscription of £5 and a nightly attendance fee of £4 will give you
hours of good friendly competition and it also include refreshments.
If you would like any further information the Secretary — Andrew Mew - Tel. 01278 741437 — will
be very pleased to assist.
Please remember—Kilve & District Bowlers are very happy and friendly people and their aim is to
help keep the Olympic Legacy alive.
