Supporting the Holford & District Village Hall

It's really simple, and doesn't cost you anything. All you have to do is: 1. Go to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/holforddistrictvillagehall  2. Sign up free  3. Planning Applications There are several Planning Applications submitted and can be viewed on the West Somerset Planning site (search using Holford). The sites include:- Silk Mills, Strawberry Fields. Comments for and against can be left online. Land N.W. of Plough Inn was refused. Plough Inn was Granted. Green Pastures was granted.

‘Help Holford Hall’

Holford & District’s refurbished and enlarged community hall is about to become a reality. But we still need your help. The Hall committee has successfully secured £565,500 in grant funding from the charitable trusts listed below. We now have sufficient funds for the main project, but will need a little more money, and some practical help, to finish off the Hall.

Silk Mills Planning

Application

A tree preservation order has been placed on all the trees on the site. The application is NOT on the agenda for the West Somerset Council planning meeting being held at 4.30pm on Thursday 8th Nov. Still awaiting decision!!

Christmas Card Delivery in Holford

As usual, we will be putting thepostbox in the church on Monday 10th December until 16th December for delivery between 17th & 19th. December. There will also be a box at Lady Carles House. do not ask for any monies for this service but a donation would be appreciated as all funds go towards the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance. This service is just for the village of Holford and please could you put the name and address on the envelope as this makes our job so much easier in delivering your cards.
