‘Help Holford Hall’

Holford & District’s refurbished and enlarged community hall is about to become a reality. But we still need your help. The Hall committee has successfully secured £565,500 in grant funding from the charitable trusts listed below. We now have sufficient funds for the main project, but will need a little more money, and some practical help, to finish off the Hall.

Plastic Recycling I am sorry to inform you that Conquest Riding are no longer accepting any more Terracycle plastics. Unfortunately this means that Copse Cottage has had to stop collecting our plastic waste to take to them. While there are other charities participating in such schemes, their locations are not as convenient. While this is disappointing for us all, I hope that this short period of separating out your waste has helped you become more plastic aware and that you will continue to reduce, re-use and recycle. Bear in mind the very convenient Somerset Waste recycling centres, and that this year will see the introduction of a new kerbside collection scheme to include many of your regular household plastics.
