Happy Feet Garden Tours

Northants, Lincolnshire, Warwickshire, Bedfordshire & Leicestershire

Thursday  14th  June -  Monday  18th June 2018

Back    from    our    trip    and    after    visiting    eight    stunning        gardens,    where    do    we    begin,    but    of    course,    beautiful Barnsdale.....      the   wonderful   Geoff   Hamilton   who   inspired   thousands   of   'new'   gardeners   to   re-create   those   lovely   old fashioned cottage gardens. .. The   above   counties   were   only   half   of   those   we   visited   on   this   trip,   if   one   includes,   Somerset,   we   also   ventured   into Gloucestershire,   Wiltshire,   Oxfordshire   and   Rutland!   My   thanks   to   all   my   twenty   eight   lovely   friendly   people   who joined   me   on   this   special   trip.      We   saw   some   beautiful   gardens,   we   enjoyed   the   warm   hospitality   of   owners   of   those gardens   (especially   with   refreshments   and   a   vast   amount   of   cakes!)   being   inspired   by   their   planting   and   with   a comfortable   hotel,   lots   of   chatter,   a   super   coach   driver   who   accessed   the   most   incredibly   narrow   lanes   so   we   could get to those gardens, it was a very enjoyable weekend. Research has already started for a further trip next year.  Watch this space, all newcomers welcome! Mo P
